Miami-Dade Police are responding to reports of shots fired near Ruth Owens Kruse Education Center.
Officers responded to the school located at 11001 SW 76th St, Friday morning.
According to Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the shots were fired at a nearby park, so the school has been placed on lockdown.
No injuries have been reported.
Terra Environmental Research Institute is also reportedly on lockdown.
