Authorities say an early morning fire has destroyed three cars inside a Northwest Miami-Dade apartment complex.
The complex, located in the Liberty City neighborhood near Northwest 12th Avenue and 79th Street, went up in smoke after a car caught fire shortly before 5 a.m.
The fire spread to two other vehicles, according to officials, with each one being destroyed as a result.
No injuries were reported from anyone in the cars or nearby apartments.
Officials have not released any additional information on the incident, but believe it may have been started by an electrical malfunction.
