Boynton Beach Police Reunite Man With Stolen Prosthetic Limb

A motivational speaker and fitness enthusiast from Boynton Beach felt like a part of him was missing when his prosthetic arm was stolen.

According to authorities, Chris Ruden's carbon fiber Touch Bionics prosthetic arm was stolen this weekend from his truck as it was parked outside of his girlfriend's Stonehaven Drive home.

The prosthetic is custom fit for Ruden and the Boyton Beach Police Department said it is extremely expensive.

Boynton Beach police urged for the community's help to find the prosthetic Sunday afternoon.

Boynton Beach Police Sgt. Rayner De Los Rios and detectives Marco Villari and Jeff Gleicher spent about a half hour searching for the arm. It turns out that the thief ditched the arm in some bushes in the Stonehaven community.

Police said investigators were able to lift fingerprints.

Ruden has a YouTube channel that features workout and advice videos, as well as lifestyle tips.

"I was bullied, made fun of, and felt like an outcast because of the way I was born. That all changed when I found my passion for fitness. Becoming a powerlifter and motivation others changed my life," a video description reads.
