HELP The Victims Of Hurricane Michael TODAY. Here's How!

There are plenty of ways you can give back to the community this week and ultimately lend a hand to those North of us that are feeling the after-effects of Hurricane Michael.

For one, iHeart is pairing with the Florida Highway Patrol, the city of Aventura, and a number of local and state agencies to create a Hurricane Michael Relief Effort.

Through the end of today, we are collecting specific items such as:

• New Generators

• New Boxed Chainsaws

• New Flashlights

• New Batteries

• Baby Diapers, Baby Food, Baby Wipes (Only unopened boxed items no single items)

• Large boxes of sealed canned foods (No single or bagged items)

• New Blankets, Cots, Sleeping Bags (no opened items)

• Large unopened bags of Pet Food or full boxes of Canned Pet Food (no open items)

All donations can be dropped off at Aventura Mall (19501 Biscayne Boulevard) in the parking lot across the Macy’s Men’s Home Store in the designated drop off area. Just look for the Good Greek moving and storage trucks!!

Donations will only be accepted from now until tonight at 8:00 PM.

There will be no clothing or used items accepted at this location. Every item must be boxed and labeled. To Donate by phone please call 1-800-HELP-NOW-1-800-435-7669.

Similarly, Feeding South Florida is also holding a donation and a Hurricane Michael Help-A-Thon.

The organization is working with our Feeding America sister food banks in the impacted areas to coordinate food, water and supplies. There are already several inbound streams of support so what’s needed most at this time are monetary donations to Feeding the Gulf Coast and Second Harvest of the Big Bend.

Feeding South Florida and other Florida food banks are sending trucks, drivers, and supplies in a timed and coordinated effort.

Here’s how you can help:

DONATE FOOD

Most-needed food items:
