The search continues for a 7-year-old boy taken from his Hialeah home by his Mother.
Police say boys mother, Rickquita Wright, had an impromptu visit to her ex-husband’s home over the weekend, after being absent from their lives for more than a year.
His father, Roy Stephens II, allowed his mother to speak with the child…but during a discussion over custody rights, she became problematic and Mr. Stephens elected to call the police.
While getting the phone, Wright took Roy Stephens III and let Hialeah in her Silver Toyota Corolla with Georgia License Plate CGZ9069, heading north to Georgia where she presently resides.
Officials say not only did Stephens have full custody of the child, but he was taken without his Asthma Inhaler and could be in great danger.
