Police have arrested two men accused of shooting and stabbing a man to death in Miami.
Hanson Bernard Shaw, 47, and Timothy Woods, 45, are facing second-degree murder charges in the Oct. 5 killing that happened in the area of Northwest 15th Avenue and 68th Street in Liberty City, Miami Police officials said.
Police said officers responded to a Shotspotter alert in the area and found the victim gravely injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to arrest reports, Shaw shot the man while Woods stabbed him in the head.
A revolver and a knife were recovered not far from the scene, the affidavits said.
