Half A Dozen Animals Rescued From Hialeah House Fire

Over a half dozen pets were saved from a house fire in Hialeah after they were rescued by a family member who arrived just in time.

Fire rescue crews arrived at the scene near West 15th Court and 58th Street after reports of the blaze breaking out.

At least seven animals – including cats, dogs and a pig – were saved after one person who lived in the home went inside after seeing the fire.

Officials have not released any information, including what starter the fire, any injuries to the human occupants of the home or if any animals were killed in the fire.

The Red Cross is assisting the family at this time.
