Miami Police are investigating an overnight shooting in Liberty City.
According to authorities, the incident has left one man dead and a suspect reportedly in custody.
Officers from both the City of Miami and Miami-Dade Police responded to the scene near Northwest 67th Street and 17th Avenue early Friday morning.
Officials have not confirmed the identity of the male victim or initial reports that a shooter was taken into custody and a weapon was found at the scene.
Miami Police tweeted that NW 15th, 16th and 17th Avenues would be closed in the area as well as 67th to 71st Street during the investigation.
