Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is writing a big check to help Democrat Andrew Gillum's campaign for Florida's governor.
The $250,000 check comes just as Bloomberg arrives in South Florida for three days of events.
This evening, Bloomberg will be at a gun control event in Coral Springs. He will also attend Democratic fundraisers on Saturday and Sunday.
There's speculation that Bloomberg will run for president in 2020.
