A 4-year-old boy who went missing in Miramar has died after he was found in a lake, officials said Monday.
Police from Miramar and Pembroke Pines began searching for the boy Saturday and pulled him from the lake Saturday night.
The boy's name hasn't been released.
"We are saddened to report that he was found in a lake and did not survive. Our sincerest condolences go out the the family of the young boy," Miramar Police tweeted.
No other information was immediately known.
