Kavanaugh SCOTUS Nom Headed To Full Senate For Vote

The nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court is headed to the full Senate for a confirmation vote.

The Republican-led Judiciary Committee approved Kavanaugh on Friday afternoon, but Arizona Senator Jeff Flake insisted a full Senate vote be delayed by one week while the FBI investigates sexual assault allegations.

It is unclear if Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will delay the full Senate vote that was expected to take place Tuesday.

Senators on the committee were arguing back and forth Friday afternoon about how to proceed.
