Amber Alert Issued For Children Missing Out Of North Florida

An Amber Alert has been issued for two North Florida children.

Authorities say that the children have been missing since Thursday. Officials fear may be traveling out of state.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the alert for 7-year-old Brian Mejias and 6-year-old Gabriela Mejias, who were last seen in Live Oak, which is located between Tallahassee and Jacksonville.

The two may be traveling in a black Toyota Camry with a Texas license plate with dark tinted windows possibly driven by a man named Rochie – saying the car could be part of a three-car caravan traveling west toward Texas with as many as 15 people.

Brian is four feet tall and was last seen in a red shirt and blue jean shorts with black hair and brown eyes and a scar below his hairline.

Gabriela is three feet tall and was last seen wearing a pink dress with black and brown hair down to her waist.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office or FDLE.
