FL Senators Introduce Bill To Help Growers Combat Mexican Trade Practice

Florida's U.S. Senators are introducing legislation they say will help Florida fruit and vegetable growers combat unfair trade practices by Mexico.

The bill from Republican Marco Rubio and Democrat Bill Nelson would allow the farmers to fight the illegal dumping of Mexican winter produce on U.S. markets.

Florida is one of the few places in the country that can grow warm-weather crops during the winter.

Rubio says they must do all they can to ensure a level playing field for the state's growers and Nelson says "enough is enough."
