Forecasters Monitor Several Tropical Disturbances

(Miami, FL)  --  Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center in Miami are watching several disturbances.  Tropical Depression Kirk is weakening as it moves rapidly westward across the tropical central Atlantic.

Farther to the north and also well out in the Atlantic, Subtropical Storm Leslie is heading slowly southwestward with little change in strength expected in the next couple of days.

And a broad area of low pressure located about midway between Bermuda and the Bahamas has a chance of further development as it moves to the northwest.
