The city of Coconut Grove will soon be blooming with beautiful orchids.
Today, city workers joined with staff from Fairchild Botanical Gardens to plant 250 rare and endangered orchid seedlings onto tree trunks throughout Coconut Grove.
The "Million Orchid Project" will start on school campuses and expand through the center of town.
The first flowers should bloom in about five-years.
