Authorities say a 29-year-old Florida woman met with an undercover officer three times to arrange a hit on her husband.
Crystal Alicia Ely was arrested Sept. 13.
She now faces charges of criminal conspiracy and criminal solicitation. She's being held without bail in a Jacksonville jail.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reportedly received a tip that a woman was looking for someone to kill her husband. An arrest report shows Ely met with the undercover officer to arrange the hit on her 41-year-old husband.
Investigators say Ely offered the officer money and other valuables to carry out the plot.
At their final meeting last Thursday, she gave the officer a pair of earrings and two rings as a form of payment.
