Disney Workers To Vote On Wage Rate Hike

Walt Disney World employees are voting Thursday on a new contract giving them a starting minimum wage of 15 dollars an hour.

The deal calls for the 50-percent increase to take place over the next three years. That deal also includes a one-thousand dollar bonus.

It's the result of months of negotiations involving six unions and covers more than half of Disney World's 70,000 workers.
