The Florida Supreme Court is currently considering a challenge that has been made to the minimum wage ordinance that was passed by Miami Beach.
The 2016 ordinance would increase the minimum wage up to $13 per hour by 2021.
That proposal has been struck down by two lower courts.
A hearing date for Supreme Court review has not been set.
