Gators Pulled From Florida Lake Where Woman Was Attacked

Florida Fish and Wildlife workers have pulled two alligators from a Citrus County lake where a woman was attacked earlier this week.

According to ABC Action News in Tampa, trappers pulled a seven-foot-long gator and an almost eight-foot-long gator out of Lake Hernando Wednesday night.

Investigators say Felicitie Gillette was swimming in the lake early Wednesday morning when an alligator grabbed her by the arm and dragged her underwater.

She managed to get free and call 911.

FWC officials say she was treated at a nearby hospital and released.
