The Florida primary election may not officially take place until next Tuesday, but more than 1.2 million people have already cast their ballots.
The state Division of Elections reports that just under a million Floridians have voted by mail.
And nearly 300,000 have turned out at early voting centers.
Miami-Dade County leads the vote total, followed by Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.
