Florida's Unemployment Rate Reaches Lowest Number In More Than A Decade

Florida's unemployment rate is the lowest its been in more than a decade.

Governor Rick Scott announced Friday morning the jobless rate fell 0.1 of a percent to 3.7 percent in July compared to the month before. 

More than 26,000 jobs were created last month. 

Miami-Dade's unemployment rate ticked up from 4.1 percent in June to 4.3 percent in July.  

It remains 3.7 percent in Broward.

The U.S. unemployment rate stood at 3.9 percent in July.
