With the start of school just a couple days away for Miami-Dade public schools, there's an opportunity for parents to get their child vaccinated.
Lydia Sandoval with the Health Department in Miami-Dade says they're offering a back-to-school immunization day, Saturday August 18th.
Sandoval says Health Departments in Miami-Dade and Broward County provide free back-to-school immunizations for kids between the ages of two months through 18.
The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade says children entering Kindergarten and 7th grade are normally due for a vaccine.
