Florida's jobless rate currently stands at 3.8 percent, which is lower than the national average, and state officials expect another good report when new unemployment numbers come out on Friday.
According to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the Sunshine State has the lowest unemployment rate of the 10 most populous states.
There are almost a quarter-million job openings in Florida and number-one on the list is registered nurses.
