Fort Lauderdale Police say two people were arrested Friday morning following an attempted burglary.
Authorities say someone tried to break into a mobile home on Northwest Ninth Street in Fort Lauderdale around 6 a.m.
The man living in the home said one of the suspects fired a shot at him and missed. He says he grabbed his own gun and fired back.
Police say they haven't confirmed who fired shots, but say they have two people in custody and are investigating.
