Seven Tons Of Cocaine Offloaded In Florida Everglades

On Thursday morning, officials with the U.S. Coast Guard in Florida offloaded more than seven tons of cocaine that were seized at sea this summer.

The cutters Mohawk, Tampa, Venturous, and Alert were all involved in capturing the drugs during operations in the Pacific.

Seven smuggling vessels and two floating bale fields were found off Mexico's Pacific coast.

The contraband was offloaded at Port Everglades.
