Crisis Counseling Being Offered After Thwarted Mass Shooting In Florida

Crisis counseling assistance is being offered to families and others who witnessed a shooting incident in Brevard County last weekend.  

Some 150 people, mostly children, were at a back-to-school rally at Isaac Campbell Park in Titusville on Saturday when shots rang out. 

Brevard County Parks and Recreation is working with 2-1-1 Brevard and Titusville Police to provide crisis counseling referrals for anyone in need of assistance.  

Trained specialists are available 24/7 by calling 2-1-1 or contacting Victim Advocate Michelle Flowers at the Titusville Police Department.
