Global Warming Is Threatening The Human Race, Scientists Say

Runaway global warming is threatening the future of the habitability of the planet for humans.

That's the finding of a new study by international scientists who looked back at the planet when there was far more CO2 in the air because of volcanic activity.

According to the study, scientists warn that even if global agreements on curbing greenhouse emissions are met, the Earth could still see temperatures rise six to eight degrees and sea levels rising as much as 300 feet.

That could start to trigger other processes, like a chain of dominoes that can't be stopped.
