Florida Governor Rick Scott is traveling to Colombia this week to attend the inauguration of new president Ivan Duque.
The governor's office says that President-elect Duque personally extended the invitation for Scott to attend Tuesday's event.
While in Colombia, Scott will meet with Venezuelan leaders who were exiled there and discuss ways that Florida can help to oppose the regime of President Nicolas Maduro.
