Florida Keys Getting More Financial Assistance For Irma Relief

More money is headed to help clean up the Florida Keys following last year's Hurricane Irma and the damage that storm brought along with it.

The City of Key West will receive more than $1.7 million in federal assistance to help recover from Hurricane Irma.

Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) funds will reimburse Key West debris removal costs following the storm.

The storm deposited more than 137,000 cubic yards of debris throughout the county.
