WPB Man Shocked While Trying To Walk On A Power Pole

A South Florida man is injured after being shocked while trying to walk on a power pole.

West Palm Beach police say the man and two others were practicing parkour, which includes running, climbing and jumping, in downtown West Palm Beach.

According to WPTV-TV in West Palm Beach, the group climbed a metal pipe on a building on Clematis Street, got onto the roof, then walked along the rooftop to the building at 100 South Dixie Highway.

That's when the victim walked on an FPL power pole to get to another building.

He touched a live wire and received a shock of more than 7,500 volts of electricity.

His companions found him unresponsive in an alley below the pole.

There's no word on his condition.
