A group of Miami-Dade teens will gear up to enter the school year a little more tech savvy.
The Miramar-area high schoolers are beginning a two-week-long Cyber Security Bootcamp at Florida Vocational Institute.
The two-week program will run from July 30 - Aug. 10, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The goal of the Cyber Security Bootcamp is to give students the opportunity to learn in a structured, hands-on learning environment giving you the knowledge and skills to prepare for a career in IT.
The free program is being offered by Mayor Wayne Messam.
