Florida Native Inducted To Baseball Hall Of Fame!

A Florida native is one of six new members that have been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.  

Chipper Jones was born in DeLand and played high school ball at The Bolles School in Jacksonville.  

He went on to play his entire 19-year Major League career with the Atlanta Braves and was the National League MVP in 1998.  

Jones was inducted in ceremonies at Cooperstown, New York, on Sunday, along with Vladimir Guerrero, Jim Thome, Trevor Hoffman, Jack Morris and Alan Trammell.
