Should Greyhound Racing Be Considered On November Ballot?

Lawyers for the greyhound industry are asking a Tallahassee judge to scratch Amendment 13 from the upcoming, November ballot.

That Amendment would phase out greyhound racing in the state of Florida.

Former Supreme Court Chief Justice Major Harding arguesthat the amendment has serious problems.

On the contrary, lawyers for the state and for the Committee to Protect Dogs say there's nothing deceptive about the amendment and believe that its fate should be decided by the voters.

The judge promised a fast ruling because of a certain appeal.
