Lindsay Lohan's stepmother was arrested in Boca Raton on Friday.
Authorities say Kate Lohan was booked into the main Palm Beach County jail shortly after 3 a.m. on a battery charge.
She is the stepmother of actress Lindsay Lohan.
According to an arrest report, Micahel Graham, Lindsay's father, called 911 to report a domestic disturbance between he and Kate.
The report states that the couple got into an argument over a cell phone. Graham allegedly walked out of the residence to separate himself from Lohan, who allegedly followed him outside and threw a candle with a glass holder at him.
That candle hit a nearby palm tree, according to the report.
The ricocheted glass reportedly caused a cut along Graham's forearm.
According to authorities, Lohan said she did not know how Graham hurt himself, and that he had actually threatened to hurt himself before calling 911. Lohan allegedly said she knew "nothing whatsoever" about the shattered glass on the front lawn and how Graham possibly got hurt.
Kate Lohan has been in trouble with the law before.
Court records show that she was accused of kicking a Delray Beach police officer who was taking her to jail after an argument with her estranged husband in 2016.
Palm Beach County court records show she pleaded guilty to battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence and was sentenced to six months in jail, receiving credit for time served.
