Former Miami Hurricanes Running Back Dead At 33

Former University of Miami running back Tyrone Moss died Thursday at the age of 33.

The Pompano Beach native reportedly passed away from a heart attack, though that has not been confirmed by officials.

Moss led the Tigers to a state championship as a senior in 2002, finishing his career with over 7,100 rushing yards and being named one of the 100 best high school players in Florida history during a 2007 celebration of high school football in the state.

One of the top rated recruits in the country, Moss chose to stay close to home and signed with the ‘Canes and spent four seasons playing for Miami.

He finished his college career with just over 1,900 yards and 26 touchdowns on the ground.
