FL Doc, Office Managers Busted For Running Miami-Dade Pill Mill

The individuals accused of running a pill mill in Miami-Dade County have been busted.

Dr. Armando Falcon and two office managers at a Cutler Bay pain management clinic were arrested on Tuesday.

Each of the involved parties are now facing charges of using the business as a cover to illegally sell large quantities of prescription pain killers.

Attorney General Pam Bondi's office says an undercover investigation revealed that Falcon met with patients for less than two minutes before writing prescriptions for 150 oxycodone pills.

The doctor allegedly accepted only cash payments, saw between 20 and 25 patients a day, and earned more than $1-million a year from the illegal activity.
