Absentee Ballots Being Sent Out Ahead Of Florida Primary

With the Florida Primary election coming up next month, absentee ballots are being sent out to more than 2-million residents who plan to vote by mail.

The primary will mark the first statewide election since it was learned that Russian hackers tried to infiltrate the Florida system in 2016.

Secretary of State Ken Detzner says the feds have provided almost $20-million to beef up cybersecurity in the Sunshine State and he's confident the system is secure.

The primary election will be held on August 28th.

Early voting will be taking place from August 18th through the 25th.
