2 In Custody, 2 At Large Following Doral Burglary & Bailout

Two men are in custody, and officers are searching for two more after an alleged early Wednesday morning burglary in Doral.

Miami-Dade Police say the incident started around 4 a.m.

According to authorities, an SUV carrying four men crashed into a tree and caught fire near the intersection of Northwest 74th Street and 114th Avenue.

Officers spotted the car after it was allegedly involved in a theft of watches from a warehouse off Northwest 112th Street and 92nd Avenue.

Authorities say they captured the driver and a passenger shortly after the crash.

Two people reportedly are inside a nearby apartment complex, with officers from various agencies searching the area.

The exit ramps to NW 74th Street from the Florida’s Turnpike were closed in both directions, reopening shortly before 7 a.m. as drivers are advised to avoid the area around that intersection at this time.
