Former Dolphins Coach, Tony Sparano, Dead At 56

The Miami Dolphins are mourning the death of former head coach Tony Sparano.

He passed away Sunday at the age of 56, three days after complaining of chest pains.

Sparano became the Dolphins' head coach in 2008, and helped to take a team that had won only one game the year before to the AFC East championship.

Miami fired Sparano in 2011, but Dolphins owner Stephen Ross says he made "an indelible impact" on the team's history.
