Rescue crews responded to a building collapse in Miami Beach Monday morning that sent at least one person to the hospital.
Miami Beach Police officers are at the scene near 57th Street and Collins Avenue. Authorities say the building had a permit for demolition.
Miami Beach Fire Rescue confirmed that one person was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition, but have not released any information on other possible victims at this time as they continue to search the scene.
All roads are closed in the area surrounding the scene at this time.
