Voter Registration Among Young People Surging In Florida

Voter registration among young people is surging in the Sunshine State.

A Democratic data firm finds that the number of newly registered voters between 18 and 29 jumped eight percentage points in the 10 weeks following the tragic high school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

Milennials are now the largest share of all new voters in the state of Florida.

The survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting have been touring the country to promote voter registration among young people.
