Transgender Woman Found Murdered In Florida, Suspect At Large

Investigators in Florida are working to figure out who killed a transgender woman and left her body behind an apartment building.

Orange County deputies say someone found Sasha Garden's body early Thursday outside the Reserve at Lake Buchanan apartment complex on Holden Avenue, near Orange Blossom Trail.

Deputies originally said the body was that of a man dressed as a woman and wearing a wig.

A man who says he was a friend of Garden's told Orlando news affiliate WFTV-TV that Garden was working as a prostitute in the area.

Deputies say they don't believe Garden lived in the apartment complex where she was found.  They haven't said where she is from.

Investigators haven't released any information on possible suspects in the case.
