SpaceX is targeting a satellite launch for early Sunday morning from Cape Canaveral in Florida.
The company says it completed a static test fire of the Falcon 9 rocket on Wednesday afternoon.
This Falcon 9 is the new Block 5 version, designed for rapid and inexpensive reuse.
It will carry into orbit the Telstar 19 Vantage, a communications satellite providing service to North and South America and the northern Atlantic Ocean.
