Miami police are encouraging residents to participate in next month's gun buyback.
According to local authorities, anyone who turns in a handgun to the Miami Police department will receive a $50 gift card, no questions asked.
An assault rifle will fetch up to $250.
The buyback runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on August 4th at Juan Pablo Duarte Park in Allapattah.
