Two small planes collided and crashed in the Florida Everglades in Miami-Dade Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials, the incident took place near 22700 Southwest 8th Street, near Coopertown Airboats.

It's unclear how many people were aboard the plane(s) or whether anyone was injured.

A sign on the side of one of the aircrafts read "Dean International."

Investigators have been looking into the Dean International Flight School this year following another small plane crash that took place in May.

Footage from the scene showed a badly damaged plane in a grassy area of the Everglades.
