One man is dead and another wounded from what authorities believe was a possible lightning strike Tuesday afternoon.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue found the pair of victims near 22nd Ave N and Pierce Drive in Lake Worth.
Authorities say that they transported both victims to a trauma hospital for treatment. One of the male victims passed away at that hospital, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The second victim was last listed in critical condition.
PBSO is classifying the case as a death investigation and sent crime scene investigators to the scene.
If it is confirmed that the person in Lake Worth died from lightning, this would be the sixth death this year in Florida from lightning.
