3 Arrested In Lauderhill Murder, 2 Remains At Large

Three suspects wanted in relation to the February murder of a man in Lauderhill have been arrested in California.

Juan Uribe Carvajal, 23, Laura Daniela Perez-Lozano, 23, and Cristian David Carmona Quinonez, 19, are facing murder charges in the killing of 44-year-old Martin Young inside The Manors at Inverrary at 4164 Inverrary Drive.

One of the charged, Carvajal, appeared in Broward County bond court Monday, where he was ordered held without bond. Perez-Lozano and Quinonez were also being held without bond.

Police are still searching for two more suspects. According to authorities, Alejandra Porras is still at large, as well as a fifth, female suspect who has yet to be been identified.

The victim allegedly met the three women in downtown Fort Lauderdale on Feb. 11 and was seen on surveillance video walking down a sidewalk with them around 4 a.m. The same women were seen with Young in surveillance footage from the elevator of his building around 6:20 a.m.

A short time later, one of the women left Young's apartment and was seen letting the two men into the building, police said.

There was a confrontation in the apartment and Young was shot and killed, police said.

Police said they believe the group was robbing Young and said they may have committed similar robberies in the past.

Young lived in Virginia but had the vacation apartment in Lauderhill.
