Rick Scott's Senate Campaign Reports Millions Raised In Second Quarter

Governor Scott's campaign for U.S. Senate is reporting a record breaking $10.7-million of funding raised in the second quarter of 2018.

According to the senate campaign, the figure passes any other national senate campaign, and doesn't include any of Scott's personal money spent on the campaign.

Over 11,000 people contributed to his campaign, with 80-percent of supporters being in Florida.

Scott says the record-breaking funding is sending a message to Washington about the future of career politicians coming to an end.
