Man Due In Court After Threatening To Kill WPB Police Sergeant

A Long Island man is due court after being accused of threatening to kill a South Florida police sergeant.  

Police say 38-year-old Robert Shemanski has been allegedly calling and harassing the West Palm Beach Police Department for the last two years. 

According to authorities, Shemanski allegedly sent a Facebook message to a Florida news outlet saying he was going to kill a West Palm Beach police Sergeant.  

He's being arraigned today (Thursday) on harassment charges in Hempstead.
