Swimming Advisory Lifted For Several SoFla Beaches

Local health officials are advising people to stay out of the water at a couple of Miami-Dade beaches.

The county health department has issued swimming advisories for Dog Beach on Virginia Key and Crandon North Beach on Key Biscayne.

Officials say tests found unacceptable levels of bacteria in the water.

Swimming in the water may increase the chances of getting sick.

It is not clear how long the advisory will be in place for at this time.
